The app uses the original PIN code, which you received in the accompanying letter when you received the card. If you have already changed this code and you no longer have the original one, you can of course always request it via the MAES fuel card service. Please note that you do this via an e-mail address known to us.

Mobile refueling is currently only possible on our own network of about 300 stations. Soon you will also be able to do this on our entire fuel card network.
If you want to remove a fuel card, go to “settings” at the bottom right and there you will get an overview of all fuel cards. There you can press the map on the trash can at the top left. Just confirm and the card is gone.
No, at the moment you can only refuel mobile via the app with a MAES fuel card. You can use the app as a locator, but mobile refueling is not yet. An update is planned after the summer with which you can also add a bank card or credit card and from then on the app and especially mobile refueling will be available to everyone.
You need to create a new account for the app. You can complete this in a few short steps and then you can link your fuel card to it. For invoicing we still look at the data on “My MAES”.
No, if you would like the number plate and vehicle to be included on the invoice, you can set this up via MY MAES or contact the fuel card service.
During registration you can enter a pin code for using the app. This pin code can be your personal pin code and does not have to be that of the fuel card. You will have to enter this every time, if you do not work via fingerprint, when you want to refuel mobile.
You do need the original pin code of the fuel card to insert the fuel card for the first time. If you no longer have this, you can always request it via [email protected]. Please note that you do this via an e-mail address known to us (for example, where the invoices will appear).
If you think that skimming or fraude has occured with your card or at our service stationss. Please contact us as soon as possible. That way, we can check it right away. Do call us on 03 889 89 89 or contact us.
If you already have a prepaid card that you would like to reload, you can contact us by email and you can transfer the agreed amount.
Do you not receive a confirmation email after submitting an online fuel card request? Then be sure to check your SPAM folder. Sometimes the mails can end up here. You have nothing? Please contact us via email or our contact page.
As soon as we receive the double payment, we will transfer this amount as soon as possible! So you don’t have to worry about this.
To download your invoices you can always go to “My MAES”, where you can find all information. Do you no longer have your login details? Contact us via email or the contact page.
When changing your bank account number, it is best to report this as soon as possible in order not to have any problems with the direct debit. This keeps everything running smoothly and you do not risk the blocking of your fuel card. You can do this conveniently via an email at [email protected] or on the contact page of MAES.

We ourselves have about 300 stations under our own management and this under the colors MAES, OCTA +, DESIMPEL, SHELL & ESSO. The latter 2 brands also have stations managed by colleagues. But you can always go here with your MAES card. You can also refuel at TEXACO, G&V, PMO, FIREZONE, DE HAAN,…. There will always be a station near you with the MAES fuel card!
There is no purchase obligation for our fuel card, so if you do not refuel for a month, you will not receive an invoice for that month.
Our fuel card is free, so you have no fixed costs, administration costs or purchase obligation. You just pay what you refueled each month.
You can have the fuel card unblocked again by e-mail, but make sure you do this with your registered e-mail address.

Our fuel cards are for companies & self-employed persons. We do not offer a fuel card for private individuals.
The credit insurer bases itself on all information available about your company (annual accounts, sector data, history, …). A negative advice does not mean that you cannot apply for a MAES fuel card, but we may ask for a guarantee in that case.
The estimate helps us to determine whether the standard limit of 250 € per week is sufficient.
You can make multiple requests via our website, but make sure that you specify a different e-mail address for each request. If you still want to arrange it via 1 e-mail address, please contact us by mail or give this in the comments.
You can always put the fuel card in your car or just leave it in your wallet, make sure that you do not put the pin code with the card, for example. It is all too easy for people with bad intentions to use your card.
We always try to send the fuel cards within three working days, of course it depends on when the post will deliver them. But you should definitely have it within ten days!
You can request a quote by mail. Be sure to state the number of fuel cards and the estimated volume so that we can draw up an appropriate offer.
You can easily submit an application via our website, where you can also specify the desired number of cards.
- Is this a new MAES fuel card? Then be sure to check whether you have activated it. You can do this via MY MAES or via email.
- If this is an already used card, make sure that the last bill is payed. Sometimes a direct debit is cancelled for whatever reason and the card is automatically blocked by our system. Of course, we will also release it immediately upon payment.
- If all bills are in order, it may also be normal that the card is defective. Let us know by email and we will check this!
If your fuel card is illegible, it is best to request a new card, the application is free and so you can continue quickly and easily.

At the service station you walk up to the terminal, slide in your card and you follow the instructions. After you can remove your card, you choose your desired product, go to the pump and you can start to refuel.
With the MAES fuel card you can refuel in 1700 locations in the Benelux. The MAES Mobility card on the other hand gives you the possibility to refuel in the rest of Europe.
The fuel cards are sent with a standard limit of € 250 per week. However, if desired, you can set a different limit, which can be per day, week or month. Not every amount is possible, but you can always contact us by mail and we will immediately arrange this.
You can change the pin code quickly and easily, for this you have to go to one of our own petrol stations, this is not possible at our partners, there you select “other products” where you will find the option to change the pin codes.
The fuel cards are sent blocked by mail. You have to activate it via “my MAES” or via email. You will receive the login details via email. This way we can prevent fraud or theft.
No. If you lose your card or it is stolen, you should block the card via CARD STOP. New cards are delivered at the applicable rates.
Only Belgian VAT can be reclaimed. With regard to parking, all VAT will be clearly stated on the invoice. For street parking there is no VAT charge, but there is for parking behind a barrier. Regarding the recuperation of VAT on restaurant expenses, you must keep the receipts as drink and food have a separate rate and therefore only can be split up on the restaurant ticket.
Certainly, you can request the card from us and then have an amount put on it. Then this card can simply be used as a gift card.

No, this is not possible. To save time, you can always enter ‘0 (zero)’ when entering the kilometers before refueling.
You can choose your PIN yourself when requesting the MMC via a Self Service Web application. This code can and may therefore be the same as that of a MAES fuel card.
When you get a new debit card, it’s best to pass it on when you can. If you do that, all can continue to run smoothly. A new card isn’t known in our system, which means Smart Reporting can’t work. .
