Mobile refueling

With the handy MAES app for professionals, you will no longer have to pass through the terminal, refuelling can simply be done from the app

  1. Press the icon of the station where you are. And then press “Refuel here” to start mobile refuelling
  2. If you get a notification that you are not in the vicinity of the filling station, then you may have pressed a wrong location. Via “No” you return to the previous screen and can select the right station. This also ensures that no one else can refuel via your app.
  3. If you have also registered a vehicle, you can also select the correct vehicle.
  4. Then you still have to select your fuel card. When you next fill up, the app will suggest this card first.
  5. Next, the app will ask for your PIN, Touch ID or Face ID to confirm
  6. You will then still have to select the pump and if there are several products at that pump, you still have to select the right product there
  7. Then you can refuel
  8. If you have pressed something wrong, you can always press abort during the process or cancel once the pump is free. This stops the action immediately. If you still have not removed the tube from the pump after 90 seconds, the action is also stopped.

Frequently asked questions

I am a member of the Family Union (‘Gezinsbond’), how do I add my card in the MAES app?

If you are a member of the Family Union, you can easily add your membership card in the MAES app. You do this through settings –> save points. Then you can enter your membership card number. Now your membership card is in the MAES app!

Is mobile refueling possible anywhere?

Mobile refueling is currently only possible on our own network of about 300 stations. Soon you will also be able to do this on our entire fuel card network.

Can I change the language of the app?

You can easily adjust the language of the app via settings, icon at the bottom right. Currently the app is available in English, French & Dutch.

Do I have to create a new account or can I use this from MY MAES?

You need to create a new account for the app. You can complete this in a few short steps and then you can link your fuel card to it. For invoicing we still look at the data on “My MAES”.

How do I remove a fuel card from the app?

If you want to remove a fuel card, go to “settings” at the bottom right and there you will get an overview of all fuel cards. There you can press the map on the trash can at the top left. Just confirm and the card is gone.

I have lost my pin code for the app. What now?

If you have lost the pin code of your app, it is best to reinstall and register the app. Currently you cannot request the PIN again for security reasons. Otherwise, anyone who has access to your cell phone can refuel for free. It is handy to put the fingerprint in it, so you don’t need the pin code and you can still safely refuel on your mobile.

Are the data from the app automatically included on the invoice?

No, if you would like the number plate and vehicle to be included on the invoice, you can set this up via MY MAES or contact the fuel card service.
