Thinking about applying for a fuel card, but would like to first start comparing the different fuel cards? No worries, we’ll just do this for you! Below you can see all the differences and similarities between the MAES fuel card and the Lukoil gas card!
The Lukoil fuel card can be used at 250 LUKOIL filling stations and around 1,300 partner stations in the Benelux (partnership with Avia & Gabriëls), which is very similar to the number of filling stations you can use your MAES fuel card at. Yet MAES has a network of over 200 more filling stations for your fuel card.
Like MAES, the Lukoil fleet card is only available to professionals with a valid VAT number. For private individuals, Lukoil also has an app, but this is only a station finder, whereas in MAES’ app, you also easily pay and unlock the pump. However, like MAES, Lukoil does have a prepaid fleet card, where you charge a credit in advance. Lukoil, unlike MAES, does not have a Smart Reporting module.
The Lukil gas card is completely free, just like the MAES fuel network card. You will receive an invoice every fortnight.
Those who own a fleet of more than 5 cars get a contractual discount. We do not give this at MAES, we immediately give the most competitive prices at the pumps.

Yes it is! Both the application, invoicing (twice a month) and use of the online module are completely free! There are no hidden costs, no small print and no minimum purchase. Note! The MAES Hybrid Card does have a small cost of just 1 euro per month and a low transaction cost of 0.50 euro.
