Compare the MAES fuel card with the DATS fuel card

If you compare both cards you will immediately see that the MAES fuel card is only for companies. But that does not mean that you as a private individual cannot come and refuel with us. With our well-maintained network of nearly 300 petrol stations, you can always contact us to fill up the tank of your car. Whether you have a fuel card or not. In addition, you can also use Smart Reporting with us, so you can refuel with your debit card and you can still receive an invoice.

We will soon be launching the brand new MAES app. With this app you immediately get a few useful things such as a well-arranged station finder, to always find the nearest station, you can release the pump via the app and finally, as a private individual, you can also save points per liter. You can then exchange these points for free liters at the next refueling!

DATS Fuel card

With the DATS fuel card you can use a network of +130 stations. If you compare the MAES network with this, with its 300 own stations and a network of 1700 petrol stations, you see that we have a big advantage here. In addition, you can also refuel with us at a competitive price! DATS also wants to offer alternative fuels with CNG, hydrogen and electric charging points. But MAES also does not lose sight of alternative fuels. With LNG (9 locations), CNG (79 locations) and the new sustainable product HVO, we already have several alternative fuels in our portfolio. But with our new Hybrid Card you can now also enjoy a network of many thousands of charging points spread all over Europe!

Is mobile refueling possible anywhere?

Mobile refueling is currently only possible on our own network of about 300 stations. Soon you will also be able to do this on our entire fuel card network.

Where can I find my original PIN code?

The app uses the original PIN code, which you received in the accompanying letter when you received the card. If you have already changed this code and you no longer have the original one, you can of course always request it via the MAES fuel card service. Please note that you do this via an e-mail address known to us.

Which pin code should I use for the MAES app

During registration you can enter a pin code for using the app. This pin code can be your personal pin code and does not have to be that of the fuel card. You will have to enter this every time, if you do not work via fingerprint, when you want to refuel mobile.

You do need the original pin code of the fuel card to insert the fuel card for the first time. If you no longer have this, you can always request it via [email protected]. Please note that you do this via an e-mail address known to us (for example, where the invoices will appear).

Do I have to create a new account or can I use this from MY MAES?

You need to create a new account for the app. You can complete this in a few short steps and then you can link your fuel card to it. For invoicing we still look at the data on “My MAES”.
