Are you looking for a fuel card, but would like to compare all fuel cards first? No problem! We are happy to list the differences and similarities between the MAES fuel network card on the one hand and the Avia fuel card on the other. Because when you keep comparing fuel cards, you can make the perfect choice!
Currently Avia has 1 fuel card for Belgian customers. In other words, there is, other than the Avia fleet card, no possibility of a charge card or hybrid card at Avia. Also, the Avia gas card only works in Belgium.
You can use this Avia fuel card at all Belgian stations of Avia, Gabriëls and Lukoil, with a total network of 1,500 stations. With 1,700 stations in the Benelux, you can use the MAES fuel card at more stations than when you have an AVIA fuel card!
Like MAES, the Avia fleet card is only available for professionals with a valid VAT number. For individuals, both MAES and Avia provide Smart Reporting, where you use your bank or credit card to pay but receive monthly invoices. Avia also has an app, but this is only a station finder, however, so it’s no use with the Avia fleet card, while in MAES’ app you also pay easily and unlock the pump.
The Avia fuel card has no monthly fee or purchase cost, although there is a 5 euro deposit for the card. A MAES fuel network card from costs you nothing at all (apart from the amount you refueled for, of course).
Every first day of the month you pay by direct debit the amount for which you refuel with your Avia fuel card, the same applies for the MAES fuel card.

Refuelling free of charge! For the Fuel Card (refuelling) both the application, card and billing are free. Only for the Hybrid Card (refuelling and charging) there is a monthly cost of only €1/month and a small transaction cost of 0.5 euro.
