AdBlue is an additive that is required to be added to diesel vehicles. This aqueous solution is used to convert up to 85% of NOx emissions into water and nitrogen. In this way the diesel engines meet the European emission standards Euro IV and higher. The consumption of AdBlue ™ for an average fleet is up to 5% of the diesel consumption. AdBlue Proximity is official distributor of the AdBlue A brand, produced by Yara International.
AdBlue® is a liquid solution composed of demineralised water and urea. This liquid is used to supplement diesel vehicles in order to drive ‘cleaner’. The toxic exhaust gases are converted into water and nitrogen. That way, you can sometimes still gain access to low-emission zones. One condition, however, is that the vehicle has an exhaust catalyst with SCR technology.
AdBlue® is carried in a separate tank and you can refill it yourself or by your local garage owner.
