I am a member of the Family Union (‘Gezinsbond’), how do I add my card in the MAES app?

If you are a member of the Family Union, you can easily add your membership card in the MAES app. You do this through settings –> save points. Then you can enter your membership card number. Now your membership card is in the MAES app!

Do I have to create a new account or can I use this from MY MAES?

You need to create a new account for the app. You can complete this in a few short steps and then you can link your fuel card to it. For invoicing we still look at the data on “My MAES”.

How do I remove a fuel card from the app?

If you want to remove a fuel card, go to “settings” at the bottom right and there you will get an overview of all fuel cards. There you can press the map on the trash can at the top left. Just confirm and the card is gone.

I have lost my pin code for the app. What now?

If you have lost the pin code of your app, it is best to reinstall and register the app. Currently you cannot request the PIN again for security reasons. Otherwise, anyone who has access to your cell phone can refuel for free. It is handy to put the fingerprint in it, so you don’t need the pin code and you can still safely refuel on your mobile.

Are the data from the app automatically included on the invoice?

No, if you would like the number plate and vehicle to be included on the invoice, you can set this up via MY MAES or contact the fuel card service.

Can I refuel using any bank card?

Yes, you can pay with any bank card in the MAES app, as long as you have your bank’s app or Payconiq on your mobile.

Can you remotely unlock a pump using the app?

It is important to know that with mobile fuelling you can also remotely unlock the pump. On the one hand, very easy if you want to let one of your employees or a colleague fill up with the fuel card from work. Or one of your children, family or friends is at a pump and has forgotten his wallet (consciously or unconsciously ). Then you can just look for the station, see which pump is free and immediately set the pump free.

On the other hand, of course, you also have to be careful not to accidentally release the wrong pump. Of course, suppose you are not at the station, you will get a message via the app telling you that you are not at this location. That way you get one more check for safety!
