Tyre pressure

The importance of regularly checking tyre pressure cannot be underestimated. Correct tyre pressure not only contributes to better fuel economy and reduced environmental impact, but it is also crucial for vehicle safety and performance. Tyre blowers can be found at many of our stations (+140!).

Check your tyre pressure regularly

To reap the full benefits of proper tyre pressure, it is essential to check it regularly. Manufacturers usually recommend doing this at least once a month, especially before travelling or carrying heavy loads. You can find the recommended tyre pressure schedule on the flap where the fuel cap is located, in the driver’s side door pillar, or in the car manual.

Keeping the tyres at the right pressure not only improves grip on the road, which increases safety and reduces the risk of a blowout, but also improves handling as a whole. This results in a smoother driving experience and reduces the risk of accidents, especially during sudden manoeuvres or braking.

Our features

To make checking tyre pressure easier, many petrol stations offer the option of free use of tyre pumps, such as those provided by AirServ. Although a small fee of one euro may be charged for their use, these pumps are available in many locations and are well maintained.

In addition, many petrol stations offer additional facilities, such as a shop and sometimes even a car wash, making visiting one location sufficient for all your needs. If you are in doubt about the right tyre pressure, you can always consult your garage owner or tyre centre for advice and checks. With regular checks and maintenance, you can not only save money on fuel, but also contribute to a safer and more eco-friendly driving experience, potentially saving up to two refuelling sessions a year.
